Last night we attended the boyandgirlco Anew Gallery Launch Party at the Nishi Gallery in Canberra.
The exhibition, running from 11-26 October, celebrates using old materials to create new, more positive forms.
Anita and Carlo of boyandgirlco are Canberra-based designers and builders of handcrafted furniture and commercial fit outs. They deconstruct and repurpose the humble pallet to make statement pieces for any space.
We enjoyed exploring the gallery to discover their latest custom built furniture designs and wooden art installations, including a life-sized tree and kites suspended from the ceiling.
To celebrate their gallery exhibition, they are running a competition where a few lucky people could win their very own custom built boyandgirlco pieces.
For more details of the exhibition or to find out how to participate in their competition, visit the boyandgirlco website.
Congratulation Anita and Carlo, a fantastic debut exhibition!
