Join the Christmas #stylecuratorchallenge this November

Ok, ok, don’t go all Grinch-y on us for bringing Christmas to the blog a month early. If you’re anything like us, December is ca-RAY-zee so we’re getting organised this year (there’s a first time for everything) and bumping the Christmas #stylecuratorchallenge to November.

We get it. Not everyone wants to put their Christmas tree up in November! So we’re keeping it simple by asking YOU, our wonderful SC community, to show us how you style Christmas florals in your home for the November challenge.

For those of who have not yet discovered Christmas florals, these artificial stems are a low cost and high impact way of adding wow factor to your Christmas styling. Use them in your Christmas tree, place several stems in a vase in a Christmas vignette, make a Christmas DIY (we’ll be using some in a DIY wreath this month), or incorporate them into your Christmas table styling. There are endless ways you can have fun with Christmas florals and we want to see how you use them around your home this month!

We’ve teamed up with the amazing team at The Christmas Cart and the prize is sure to awaken that Christmas spirit. Keep scrolling to find out what you could win!

How to join in

1. Get creative with Christmas florals. We shared a few ideas above of how you might like to use Christmas florals — in Christmas table styling, in a vase around your home, as part of a DIY or on your Christmas tree — but there are so many more ways you could have fun them!

2. Share a photo of how you’ve used Christmas florals. Be sure to include in the photo caption the #stylecuratorchallenge hashtag, our handle @stylecuratorau and our wonderful prize sponsor @thechristmascartau.

It’s also a good idea to tag us on the pic too, so we’ll definitely see it. We will be checking Facebook, Instagram and Twitter but can only see photos shared on public accounts. If your account is private, you can still join the challenge by sending us your photo via email or DM.

3. Follow-la-la-la-la-la-la-la. Be sure to follow Style Curator on Facebook and Instagram, for challenge updates and to see if you get featured. Don’t forget to follow our festive friends at The Christmas Cart on Instagram too.

4. Spread the Christmas cheer. Follow our hashtag to check out photos other people have uploaded of their Christmas #stylecuratorchallenge florals. Like, comment and encourage others to join in — who doesn’t love a bit of love, especially at Christmas?! You can also share this page on social media or email it to a friend to encourage them to join in too.

Did you know most #stylecuratorchallenge winners have generally uploaded multiple images throughout the month? It makes sense, the more times you enter, the better your chances so feel free to share photos of different florals or photograph the arrangement from different angles!

*Terms: images must be uploaded to social media between 1 – 30 November 2019, including the #stylecuratorchallenge hashtag and tagging both Style Curator (@stylecuratorau) and The Christmas Cart (@the_christmascartau). Only Australian residents are eligible to win the prize but everyone is welcome to join in the challenge. We will select the winner by 9 December and announce it on the blog.
