While some people queue to be the first to check out latest tech or fashion, I much more eagerly anticipate the opening of new furniture and home décor shops.

So of course, I was one of the first people through the doors of Super Amart in Canberra when it opened on Friday.

They market themselves as the home of quality affordable furniture and I must say, they’re true to their name.

Catering to a wide range of tastes, I was instantly drawn to the more contemporary pieces and on-trend soft furnishings and accessories in a range of colour ways.

This is the first time customers in the ACT can shop Super Amart furniture and home décor and just in time for Summer too!

Super Amart Canberra will be celebrating its official launch on 8 December but in the meantime, you can browse the sparkling new showroom on 74 Collie Street, Fyshwick.

  1. He he, yay Sarah! They’re doing a soft launch which is why you might not have seen it promoted just yet. The opening will be next week though so no doubt you’ll start to see more promotion about it soon. Better to get in this weekend like you’re planning though and avoid the crowds 🙂
