The other day I was lucky enough to jet down to Melbourne for an event in Fed Square, or should I say Bed Square, with Super Amart.
Fifi, Dave and Fev from Fox FM broadcasted their morning show live from bed in Federation Square where one lucky listener was awarded $10,000 cash and two people in the audience received one of the stylish beds on stage!
It was loads of fun (check out the mini gallery above) and what caught my eye — even more than Fifi’s ridiculous horse costume — were the on-trend pieces by Super Amart.
Having grown up in Brisbane, Super Amart is well-established as a home of quality furniture but they’re now growing a following in Victoria and other southern states, and upping their styling game at the same time, tapping into the latest season shapes, colours and patterns.
Scandi-inspired furniture, rich gem-tone textiles and natural timber accents, tick, Tick, TICK!
As Spring is just around the corner and many of us will be looking to inject some freshness into our interiors, I thought I’d share my top 8 pieces from Super Amart’s range.
Orange and cinnamon tones are predicted as hot colours this Spring. This cushion gets it right in an abstract watercolour design!
Natural handmade wool Dhurrie rug will compliment a range of interior styles from Coastal to Scandinavian, Contemporary Australian to Bohemian.
Love the simplicity of this sofa bed with tufted detail. The charcoal fabric is a neutral backdrop ready to be styled with your favourite colours and textures. Bright screen-printed cushions in Spring or luxe velvets and furs in winter.
You can also customise the piece by easily changing the legs. If you prefer slimmer or lighter timber legs, these can be purchased online for under $10 each and will give the sofa a more Scandi look.
Pastel tones and geometric prints are as popular as ever this Spring with many designer labels already releasing similar looks for nearly three times the price. Save your pennies without skimping on quality with this stunning Rio Mint set that includes quilt cover and two pillow cases.
California chic here we come! This palm print with technicolour waves screams summer. So cool!
A stylish addition to any living room, the use of open shelves and doors adds interest while the blend of oak and white makes the design pop. Natural timber and woodgrain finishes are trending hot this season.
Just looking at this chair makes me think of sunny Spring days, relaxing outside with a good book and a cold drink. Some hanging chairs can have an unappealing bulky design but not this one! Time to start planning my outdoor area, I think!
Talk about a punch of colour! This sun chair will brighten any outdoor living area and is a modern take on the iconic Acapulco chair for a fraction of the cost.
