WIN two Scandinavian style bedside tables from Brosa

Side table

With Spring less than a month away, it’s the perfect time to start refreshing our interiors.

Pops of colour and light timber create the airy feel that’s on trend this season!

Thanks to Brosa, we can help you create your dream bedroom as we’re giving away two Scandinavian style bedside tables valued at over $350!

This giveaway has closed. Congratulations Vicki M. for winning this fab prize.

Winning entry

Less is more for bedside tables and they are beautiful and should be seen! For the one closest to the window I would place a potted Zanzibar Gem. The shelf is perfect for favourite books! Ideally I’d opt for a clock/radio and wake to that and keep the other electronics away from the bed ? excepting a low and unassuming reading lamp. I’d love a small bowl of beautiful river stones or shells as a reminder of Summer to come.

Brosa selected this entry because it mixes practical elements with personal details and a touch of whimsy and humour. They also felt the reference to Spring via the oncoming Summer set it apart.

Special mention also goes to @Tartandsweet, @kiwigal021, @simplifyme_, @poppylovestogroove, @Bernadette, Laura and Serena who were top finalists.

We know everyone loves a good giveaway which is why there’ll be plenty more on the blog soon. To make sure you never miss a giveaway or exclusive, subscribe to our e-newseltter community for weekly best bits of the blog.

The prize

The winner will receive 2 x Elizabeth Lamp tables in white American Oak with Oak veneer valued at over $350!

Traditional retail price of these tables is over $700 but Brosa is committed to offering designer furniture at up to 70% off traditional retail prices, all with a 7-day no-question return policy.

We love the Scandinavian design of this table with long slender legs and perfect proportions. With two smooth surfaces, it’s also practical for storing books on the lower shelf and a table lamp and other trinkets on the top shelf.

Good luck!!

  1. Well for one winning these tables would mean I wouldn’t have to put my glasses on the FLOOR each night because I don’t have a table!

  2. I would style the bedside tables with my grandad’s antique lamps that adds a sophisticated charm with fresh flowers to provide a nice organic touch and with family photos and Sea Shells found on the beach in the UK this year to add that personal touch.

  3. A small glass box with shells in it, 3 ocean themed books ,A small plant in a cane basket, and a lamp with a rope base and light blue shade.

    • Ohhh sounds lovely Emma! These side tables are so versatile, they would look just as fab in a sitting room as a bedroom.

  4. I would put a crocheted placemat with a LED candlelight on it together with a picture of my beloved husband; unfortunately I would also have to put an alarm clock on it πŸ™‚

  5. I would love to place them in the sunroom next to the white wicker setting with a fresh bunch of flowers picked from the garden on one in a textured vase, perhaps a small ornament on top of the other one and underneath each table a handful of the latest design/interior magazine, a perfect setting to relax in for an afternoon.

  6. I would team them up with gorgeous lamps, my favourite books on one and a vase of pretty fresh flowers on the other! They would definitely pretty up my bedroom!

  7. These tables would go next to my bed to replace my current bedsides which include an old filing cabinet and a cardboard box! Somewhere to put a cool lamp, a vase of flowers or a plant, a picture of my kids, and a box for my jewellery. All chosen of course to compliment the simple and beautiful design of the table!

  8. I’m very much into the country style. I have a gorgeous old lantern candle holder from my grandmother, so that, a vase with white water hemlock flowers. A navy blue doilie and a wicker tray with my latest book in it and my favourite cup and saucer.

Underneath would be an old jam preserving jar with my kids and my’s treasures from our walks through local forests in winter and on the beach during summer (shells, pine cones etc)

  9. I would have a simple matte black reading lamp, my small peace lily and a jewellery tray on the top shelf. I would stack a few books on the bottom shelf. The other side I would just attempt to keep clean as my partner is notorious for cluttering his side! πŸ˜‰

  10. Would love these. Some teal accessories a pic of our wedding a plant and some old books would go perfect in our room

  11. The bedside tables will sit either side of my Ikea bed which is oak veneer. I’d have a matt black lamp, a little ceramic dish in soft blue-green tones for my rings, hand cream and some sea shells as this is for my bedroom down at the beach. The rest of the space is for books to reach over for on those lazy mornings.

  12. I would style with a scented Jo Malone candle, a vintage glass vase of pink peonies and a simple white lamp. I’d place my library books on the bottom for easy access along with a small green plant.

  13. I love these tables, they are beautiful so firstly I wouldn’t want to cover them in any way! I’d keep it simple so nothing detracts from beauty of the table by adding a royal blue lamp and photo frame of my boys on the top level and an oil burner on the lower shelf to keep the bedroom smelling lovely.

  14. I would style my gorgeously timeless side tables with a black and white photograph of my two girls, a glass vase with hand picked flowers and gum leaves from the garden and a copper alarm clock. Beneath would be a stack of books and magazines. There would be Scandi inspired hanging lights above each bedside – concrete and oak with exposed globes which would compliment the style of the tables. My husband’s side would have a small handmade porcelain bowl full of guitar picks, coins and other bits, a glass of water and a book. Underneath, a weaved basket containing toys (to occupy our young girls on a Sunday morning, in hope that we can get a few more winks of sleep).

  15. Just so perfect for my bedroom. On my side I’d have a delicate origami bird from my travels in Japan, a little dish of stones from ancient ruins in Turkey and my gorgeous black and timber globe so I can drift off every night looking at it, dreaming of the corners of the world I would love to see. The shelf below – travel guides of course! #dreamstation

  16. I would style then with a beautiful reading lamp, a dish of crystals to help me sleep, and a stack of books for me to read before I go to sleep

  17. I’d style these gorgeous tables with a distinct lack of kiddie items…I want flowers, adult books and not an alarm clock in sight!

  18. Our bedroom uses a very minimalist style, with heaps of natural light… These tables are simple and elegant, a perfect match for what we have going. What better way to hero the beautiful grain of these bedside tables than with a bit of deep green. A lush potted plant, perhaps an Alocasia Reginula, in a simple brass jar would pair perfectly! A select few brass accents, such as a lamp or clock, would tie it all together! Some reading books underneath and these gorgeous tables would be good to go!
