No cookie-cutter designs. No expensive mistakes. Just practical, personalised advice tailored to your home, lifestyle and budget.
I’m based in Brisbane and work with homeowners across Australia through virtual consultations and online design services.

FAQs
What’s the difference between interior styling and interior design?
Interior styling is all about the finishing touches that make a house feel like home. Think furniture, artwork, rugs, cushions, lighting and décor — the elements that bring personality, warmth and cohesion to a space.
Interior design goes much deeper. It focuses on how a space functions and includes things like room layouts, joinery design, lighting plans, material selections, window coverings, fixtures and finishes. If you’re renovating, building or making structural changes, interior design will help ensure your space not only looks beautiful but works beautifully too.
A simple way to think about it is this: interior design creates the foundation, while interior styling brings it to life.
Whether you’re planning a renovation, building a new home or simply refreshing a room, my interior design and styling services are designed to provide as much or as little support as you need. If you’re unsure where to start, a consultation is often the best first step. Should you proceed with a larger package within 30 days, your consultation fee will be credited towards your project.
Do you offer virtual consultations?
Yes! I offer virtual consultations via Zoom for clients seeking either interior styling or interior design support.
Before our session, I’ll review your photos, plans, measurements and brief so I can understand your space and challenges. During the consultation, we’ll work through your questions, refine your ideas and create a clear action plan tailored to your home and budget.
In fact, many clients are surprised by how much we can achieve in just one hour.
Can you help with bathrooms?
Absolutely. Bathrooms are one of my favourite spaces to design and an area where homeowners often need the most support.
Bathrooms require hundreds of decisions. From layouts and tile selections to tapware, lighting, storage and materials that can withstand moisture and daily use. Getting those decisions right can make the difference between a bathroom you love and one you regret.
I’ve helped hundreds of homeowners create beautiful, functional bathrooms and would love to help you do the same.
Do you work Australia-wide?
Yes. I’m based in Brisbane but work with homeowners across Australia through virtual consultations and online design services.
For local Brisbane projects, I may also be available for in-home consultations depending on location and project requirements.
What if I only need help with one room?
Absolutely — and it’s actually very common.
Many of my clients start with a single room such as a living room, bedroom, home office, bathroom or laundry. Sometimes all it takes is a fresh perspective and a clear plan to transform a space.
If you’re unsure which service is right for you, I recommend starting with a consultation and we can work out the best next step together.
How much should I budget for styling?
Naturally, every project is different but a realistic budget depends on the size of the room and whether you’re starting from scratch or working with existing furniture.
As a general guide:
- Room refresh using mostly existing furniture: from $1,000–$3,000
- Living room or bedroom update with new furniture and décor: from $3,000–$10,000+
- Full-service styling projects: budgets vary significantly depending on the scope
One of the first things we’ll discuss is your budget so I can recommend solutions that are realistic and achievable for your circumstances.
Do you source furniture and products?
Yes.
Depending on the service you select, I can recommend and source furniture, artwork (including having something commissioned just for you), rugs, lighting, décor, tapware, tiles, finishes and other products needed for your project.
I take into account your budget, lifestyle, personal style and practical requirements to create a cohesive design that feels uniquely yours.
I can also work with pieces you already own and love wherever possible.
How far in advance should I contact you?
The earlier, the better.
For styling projects, it’s ideal to reach out once you’re ready to start planning. For renovations and new builds, I recommend getting in touch before major decisions have been made or trades have been booked. Early design input can often save significant time, money and stress later in the project.
As I balance client work alongside running Style Curator, I take on a limited number of projects at any one time. This allows me to give every client the highest level of service and attention. While consultations can often be booked sooner, there may be a waiting period of several weeks for larger styling and design projects.
If you have a renovation, build or room refresh planned in the coming months, I encourage you to get in touch early to discuss availability.
