Pom poms have been making a big appearance lately and what’s even cuter than a regular pom pom? A mini pom pom!
This super quick and easy mini pom pom tutorial can come in handy if you’re styling a kid’s room (think mini pom pom garland or baby mobile) or looking for a fun accessory to decorate a gift wrap. Create four or more pom poms in complimentary colours to add a special and thoughtful detail to the next gift you give.
Items you will need:
- Wool
- Fork
- Scissors
Steps:
1. Wrap wool around a fork at least 20 times (the more times you wrap around the fork, the fuller your pom pom will be).
2. Using a piece of wool, approximately 25cm, tie a double knot through the middle of the fork. (Top: tie the knot as tightly as you can to prevent the pom pom falling apart in the next step.)
3. Gently slip the pom pom off the fork and cut the left and right sides.
4. Fluff up the pom pom and voila, it’s done!
We told you this tutorial would be super quick and easy 😉
