Sometimes we come across homes that just leave us lost for words. There’s not much we can say so we just let the photos do all the talking.

Welcome to Ruin X. A Mediterranean style home that features a fully rendered interior. We’re talking floor to ceiling in every single room of the house. Yeah, you’re definitely gonna wanna check this place out!

We take a look around with Jayson Pate of Jayson Pate Design. Let’s go in!

Located in Burleigh Waters on the Gold Coast, this home can only be described as unique.

“This is a single storey, brick veneer construction home with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms,” Jayson tells us.

“Interestingly enough, the home is now rented to adult content creators!”

Ruin X was a simple home before the jaw-dropping renovation.

“Before the renovation, the home looked like most houses out of the early ’80s era. A simple brick and tile home that would have been a pre-existing design slapped on the block to suit a tight budget,” says Jayson.

“It underwent a full home renovation that is definitely outside of the box.

“I’d explain it as a Mediterranean inspired style that has been designed to suit our Australian way of life and climate.”

The fully rendered interior is nothing short of amazing.

“Yeah definitely! The completely rendered interior is really what sets this home apart,” Jayson says.

“Render is everywhere. From walls and ceilings, to cabinetry and internal doors. It’s a pretty cool space!”
