Charcoal greys and clay tones

Create a moodier bedroom this season by embracing charcoal greys. Tarina has achieved an inviting bedroom by breaking up the darker tones with clay and tan accents in her signature way.

Earthy ochre

Another take on the rich, romantic interior trend are earthy ochre tones — perfect for Autumn!

Since she first appeared on The Block, Carelene has been impressing us with her use of colour and this earthy palette will surely capture the hearts of many of you.

Dusty pink and tobacco tones

Small floral prints have been coming through strongly this season and we love how Kyree used them in an understated way in her bedroom. The white quilt cover, tobacco cushions and tufted throw blanket pick up on the accent colours of the floral sheets and create an overall look that’s feminine without being girly. ADORE!

If you love it too, you can shop the whole look at Adairs and see more of Kyree’s room on her Instagram.

Deep blues and mid greys

As far as we’re concerned, Michelle Bask Interiors can do no wrong!

This talented interior stylist constantly wows us with her skills and this deep blue and mid grey bedroom is no exception! It goes to show that you can still embrace rich tones, even if you’re not a fan of the deep reds and oranges that dominate the season.

Burnt orange and olive green

If you’re really feeling those autumn vibes, perhaps our burnt orange and olive green bed styling will inspire you. The neutral tones in the chunky throw blanket and cushions tone down the intensity. Adding a few pops of colour across the room, such as in the artwork and bedside decor, create cohesion across the room.

Dusty pink with a pop of emerald-petrol blue

Ok, we’ll admit it, this bedroom is for a styled shoot rather than someone’s actual home but there’s still plenty of inspo to be taken from the space.

Just take that colour palette of dusty pink with a pop of emerald-petrol blue (or what colour would you call it?), or that fab bedhead idea, or that oversized floral artwork. LOVE. IT. ALL!

Understated with pops of jewel tones

We’ve noticed a shift towards more relaxed bed styling — fewer cushions and an unmade vibe. Aimee shows how to pull off the look in her luxe master bedroom. You could switch out the feature cushions to any of your favourite colour combos.

Deep violet

If you really feel like going moody, the team at Nathan + Jac have dialled this up to the maximum! They’ve used a whole mix of bold jewel tones, including stained berries, lipstick red and Byzantine blue in a texture-loaded way. Sold!
