17 Canberra women to watch in 2017 by Her Canberra

A little while ago, HerCanberra named me as one of the 17 Canberra Women to Watch in 2017…

This list includes women who are creating real change — from community advocates to medical researchers and social innovators — so feeling a little out of place was an understatement!

But the other day one of you said something simple but powerful — “keep on inspiring” — and it made me realise that what I do is special in its own way. I get to bring joy, creativity and a bit of escapism into people’s homes… and we could all use more of that!

“It’s just shy of three years since Gina decided to follow her heart — looking beyond the Australian Public Service and into the world of interior design.

Building a new home and giving birth to Patrick as she nurtured her Style Curator blog, Gina quickly engaged a social media following with her minimalist — but always inviting — aesthetic. Style Curator has now cemented itself as an interiors inspo site nationally. Gina has amassed over 25,000 social media followers and the blog receives 50,000 clicks a month.

She’s just been selected as Foxtel’s Lifestyle Home Influencer and will now deliver content to an audience of more than two million.”
