I’m pretty darn excited about Caesarstone’s latest product release — a range of UV resistant outdoor quartz surfaces — which now makes it possible to create outdoor spaces just as stylish as indoor ones.
Up until recently, the range of options for outdoor benchtops was pretty limited — granite, formed concrete, stainless steel or porcelain — but thanks to Caesarstone’s latest product development, you can now choose from a range of sleek engineered stone that’s even more resistant to chips and cracks than porcelain.
Today I’m going to talk through the range and share my thoughts on the 3 colour designs that can work beautiful in any area of the home — inside or out.

Palm Shade
Channelling luxe vibes, ‘Palm shade’ has a soft marble-look pattern that’s sure to elevate any outdoor zone. This would be my pick for anyone who loves marble and wants to dial up the elegance of their space. Carry the product up behind the kitchen as a splashback or team it with a tile for a pop of colour.
While some marble-look products can dominate, ‘Palm shade’ has discreet veining that offers interest without overpowering. The translucency of the material means the pattern has depth, adding to its realistic appearance (ie it’s not just printed on the face).
Clearskies
A fabulous concrete-look product in a mid-grey tone, ‘Clearskies’ is the perfect fit for contemporary spaces. Get the stylish appearance of concrete without the maintenance (no need to seal Caesarstone’s outdoor quartz surface products) and have the option for a slimmer benchtop profile.
As many of you know, we’re currently planning an outdoor kitchen and ‘Clearskies’ is my pick for the benchtop. The grey will offset beautifully against the black metal cladding and other materials in our alfresco space.
Midday
Featuring a warm, light grey base with subtle flecks, this is sure to be a popular choice. The tones in ‘Midday’ would complement both stainless steel and timber, making it ideal for outdoor kitchens but would look equally fab wrapped around a garden bed for relaxed seating.
Midday is likely going to be the top-seller in Caesarstone’s new outdoor quartz surface range as it’s understated, practical and stylish.
I love the look and matte feel of this product range but the real benefit is their durability. Using innovative technology, the outdoor quartz surface range has been designed to be weather resistant, stain resistant, scratch resistant and UV resistant. It’s an industry-first that means you can now have the stylish look of engineered stone in your outdoor spaces — and won’t have to worry come rain, snow or shine!
The collection is ideal for alfresco areas, outdoor bench seating, outdoor benchtops and even creating your own outdoor furniture.
