Decor + Design is Australia’s No.1 interiors trade event. Together with the Australian International Furniture Fair (AIFF), the shows feature 500+ brands under one roof at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre from 18 – 21 July.
With all the big hitters from the furniture and interiors industry in play, the well-established show is a must for serious buyers, as well as interior designers with both commercial and residential projects in mind.
There are also special areas of the exhibition which foster and grow developing independent studios and local makers, and we’re going to share some of our must-see stalls!

Candle Kiosk (Design Laneway; Stand DL02)
Candles are a serious business these days and this lifestyle candle company from Sydney’s Northern Beaches are taking them next level!
Candle Kiosk’s quality designer candles are minimalist, chic and leave as little environmental trace as possible. All their candles are poured from fully-refined wax, finished with a 100% cotton, lead-free wicks and give a clean burn. Forget dripping, smoking or tunnelling with these babies.
Even their wicks are specially knitted to ensure they stand upright and burn for a calm, steady flame.
Packaged in entirely recyclable materials, these candles might just make the world a better place. Check them out on Design Laneway at Decor + Design or connect with them on Instagram @candlekiosk.
Lisa Brummer Art (Wall ST; Stand WS01)
Contemporary figurative artist Lisa Brummer has a way of capturing dramatic glamour in her paintings. Perhaps it’s her background in fashion and design shows that help give her works a punchy, urban street appeal.
Having lived all over the world, the Sydney-based artist’s work is an exciting mix of cultures and energies. Wild brushstrokes and vibrant colours contrast with depth and fragility.
Lisa’s works can be found in residential and commercial projects across the world and she has worked extensively with Australian brands.

Bec Duff (Wall ST; Stand WS02)
Bec Duff’s light-filled studio in Byron Bay fuses with her artistic talent to elevate her artwork to an ethereal level. Using water as a tool and medium, her watercolours explore the emotional constructs of landscapes.
Her practice observes the rhythms of nature, making her canvases beautiful conversations with the world around us.
