Blending modern comforts with vintage charm, this coastal heritage Tudor home is a true delight.
“The home was a dated Tudor-style residence that had not been updated in some time,” Alisa explains.
“Located in the heart of Glenelg, South Australia it’s the perfect location so we knew it had real potential. It’s moments away from the beach and just 20 minutes on the tram into the city centre.
“With 3 bedrooms — two with king beds and the other 4 bunks — it makes for the ideal family or cosy couple getaway.
“The brief was to transform the home into a stylish and inviting AirBnB that feels luxurious and comfortable.
We aimed to enhance the home’s existing charm while incorporating modern conveniences and materials that would be durable and functional for frequent guest use.

This charming Tudor style home was given a full transformation in just 6 weeks.
“The home’s transformation is quite something. It’s now a thoughtfully curated AirBnB, designed for both relaxation and practicality,” Alisa tells us.
“It features an open plan kitchen, living and dining area and updated bathrooms. We added in the bunk beds to accommodate up to 8 guests comfortably.
“The layout maximises space and natural light while enhancing both functionality and aesthetic appeal.
“The biggest challenge for us was the tight six-week timeline. To stay on track, we used readily available materials and worked with trusted suppliers.
“Luxaflex® window coverings played a key role by offering both aesthetic appeal and practical benefits without long lead times.”

The coastal heritage home strikes the perfect balance between modern features and traditional styling.
“We drew inspiration from the home’s Tudor style architecture and beachside location,” explains Alisa.
“It was the perfect home to blend classic character with a coastal feel. The design features a warm, neutral palette, natural textures and high quality finishes that bring together timeless elegance and relaxed beachside living.
“The living area is one of the home’s standout spaces. We also love the kitchen with its warm timber island bench, sleek cabinetry, brushed brass fixtures and rattan accents. You also can’t go past the kids’ bunk room — it’s functional, yet fun!”
