Monochromatic

Black, white and beautiful! We adore this stunning space designed by The Stables featuring main walls in a simple white subway (with grey grout) and feature wall in mini marble mosaic tiles. The black tapware, pendant light and accessories tie the whole space together. Total goals!

However, monochromatic doesn’t have to be black and white — it simply means only containing one colour. So that blue powder room above is another fabulous example of how you could be inspired by a monochromatic palette.

Natural luxe

Technically this powder room could also fall into the monochromatic category but it’s a perfect example of the natural luxe trend that’s been emerging in recent years. Celebrating highest quality materials, like that New York marble floating stone vanity, this powder room oozes effortless luxury.

Statement tiles

Going for a subtle luxe look here, splurging on statement tiles and tap ware that stand out is a simple but effective way to add that luxe touch to your home. Add some black cabinetry and you have a winning combination!

Panelled wall

We’re not sure what’s more impressive in this powder room — the dark panelled wall with recessed ceiling light detail or that stone wall-hung vanity with undermount sink? The tapware perfectly set into the mirrored wall is also an elegant addition.

You could also easily tweak the materials palette to include lighter and warmer colours to achieve a coastal style.

Wallpapered with a pinch of vintage

Emily Henderson is one of our favourite designers. Even though her style is so different to ours, we love how she mixes old and new, high and low end, to create spaces that are packed with personality and character. If you aren’t already following her on Instagram you should do that here or go to her blog for loads of interiors inspo and design advice.

New York glam

For an instant dose of luxe, you can’t go past a pop of wallpaper and bit of bling. This powder room combines metallic fixtures with natural marble and the result is totally glam.

Black beauty

For a dramatic powder room, this space by Mim Design takes the cake! Featuring black grid mosaic tile, black joinery with dark stone top, black tapware and glass pendant light, it’s so refined and perfectly proportioned.

Concrete look

We’d call this one industrial-luxe. Adore the combination of the concrete-look floor and wall tiles with handmade subway tiles and the natural marble vanity top. That pendant and sleek tapware add a modern/minimalist feel too.

Strike gold

If you love gold, why not steal this idea and make all your tapware and hardware gold? The herringbone subway walls add texture while the vintage mirror and pop of greenery add warmth. Such a simple but beautifully executed space.
