We love the simple palette of white, black and wood in this bathroom. Most of all, the impressive use of lighting is why this bathroom made it on our top 7 list.
There’s so much to appreciate about this bathroom — the open shower, in-wall system toilet, and that ah-mazing vertical garden just outside! Imagine showering with that lush greenery every morning?!
Leonardo da Vinci once said “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication” and when you see a bathroom like this, you have to agree! Those sage wall tiles are a refreshing change from all-white while still being neutral and long-lasting. We adore the shapes of the basins and bathtub too!
This bathroom is a little bit moody and a little bit earthy and a whole lot of WOW! The eye is immediately drawn to that egg-shaped free-standing bath and then the wood panel wall — a contrast of materials and shapes that works perfectly. 10/10!
All the way from Germany, this bathroom with floating wooden vanity, wooden bath and fireplace (not to mention that view!), is another example of ‘less is more’. It also shows how space can be our biggest luxury in the bathroom. When we recently spoke with Steve from Versa-Tile about bathroom blunders to avoid, he warned against trying to put too much into a bathroom — sometimes it’s better to have a single basin rather than a double basin if it means you can go to the toilet without your knees banging against a door or being wedged between the vanity and shower.
The harmony of the colours and textures in this bathroom, and clever layout to maximise that view is what made us select this bathroom for our 7 inspirational bathrooms list. We also love that wood stump side table and how the wood has been picked up in the wall niche… that shower isn’t too shabby either 😉
This bathroom takes minimalism to the extreme! The double height ceiling and black window frames are spectacular… but we’re still thinking about whether or not that layout is too? What do you think? Brilliant or too far?
