We’ve been busy these past few weeks mapping out plans for Bonnie’s backyard and installing the new Trex deck and today we’re so excited to share the completed deck with you!

We couldn’t be happier with the look and feel of this deck, which is made from a composite material of 95% recycled products including sawdust, plastic waste and other wood waste. The result is a stunning timber-look deck without any of the maintenance such as sanding, staining or fixing warped boards.

Watch this quick video to see the completed deck at Bonnie’s house.

This stylish new grey deck mimics the look of aged tropical timber and also comes in shades of brown, red and even bronze tones. The ‘Island Mist’ colour picks up on the grey tones of the house and blue-grey tones of the new fence we recently installed.

Before and after

For impact (and a laugh) here is the before and after of the space.

Talk about a difference!!

Over time Bonnie will continue to add to this space to achieve all the points on her wish list but for now, she has a great outdoor space where she can enjoy summer entertaining in style.

If you have any questions about this deck or our experience installing it, pop them in the comments below and we’ll answer them right away.

You can also find more information on the Trex website here.
