We first discovered Kyal and Kara on the eighth season of The Block in 2014. Immediately, we knew they were ones to watch and we’ve loved following their renovation and creative journeys since then.

Discover the six-bedroom, two bathroom home in the beachside suburb of Toowoon Bay, New South Wales that the pair renovated. A former 1970s beach shack, the couple transformed it into a truely stunning family home.
One of the things we love about following Kyal and Kara’s build projects is that they’re not just after pure aesthetics. They’re also looking for clever new ways to improve the liveability of these spaces too.
We also took a sneak peak around Long Jetty. Previously a small, dated fibro cottage, you won’t believe the transformation this talented duo gave this home.
