Pom poms have been making a big appearance lately and what’s even cuter than a regular pom pom? A mini pom pom!
This super quick and easy mini pom pom tutorial can come in handy if you’re styling a kid’s room (think mini pom pom garland or baby mobile) or looking for a fun accessory to decorate a gift wrap. Create four or more pom poms in complimentary colours to add a special and thoughtful detail to the next gift you give.[ingredients title=”Items you will need”]
- Wrap wool around a fork at least 20 times (the more times you wrap around the fork, the fuller your pom pom will be).
- Using a piece of wool, approximately 25cm, tie a double knot through the middle of the fork. (Top: tie the knot as tightly as you can to prevent the pom pom falling apart in the next step.)
- Gently slip the pom pom off the fork and cut the left and right sides.
- Fluff up the pom pom and voila, it’s done!
We told you this tutorial would be super quick and easy 😉
