It certainly was a fun year to watch The Block and we enjoyed bringing you the room reveals each and every week.
This year we saw a 1970s inspired home complete with a sunken lounge, round skylights and also terrazzo benchtops. There were curved, pill-shaped windows and a brown bathroom (that later got changed to white!).
There was a masculine inspired home with a show-stopping outdoor bath. This was an element the judges fell head over heels in love with. A walk in wardrobe that was bigger than some apartments. And a dining room that got completely flipped on its head after the judges feedback.
We saw our favourite home with pure whites and elegant styling win plenty of love from the judges. But when it came to the final auction, it wasn’t to be. Our faves were the basement media room. The curved spiral staircase and beyond stunning kitchen. These won us over for sure.
One home was heavily inspired by Hamptons too.
