If you love a modern and luxe take on the boho style, you are going to LOVE this holiday house! Multi-disciplinary design studio The Designory recently designed and built with B2 Construction for boutique accommodation business Barefoot Escapes.
From wallpapered ceilings to moody rendered kitchen walls, the most epic outdoor space complete with full outdoor bathroom and contemporary styling throughout, we’re sure you’ll find more than a few ideas to love and steal from this dreamy holiday home!

Located opposite a lush nature reserve, in the heart of the market precinct in Byron Bay, the cottage is light-filled, open and instils instant calm. With a luxe palette of fresh white, sage greens, some deep navy and concrete grey tones.
A stand-out feature of the property is its huge wrap around deck and outdoor entertaining area. The area features oversized built-in bench seating, multiple lounges, hanging chairs, and a ten-seater outdoor dining table. And we can’t forget about thean outdoor bath tub, shower and plunge pool.
The Designory chose the IXL Fresco Auora Outdoor Heater to meet their al fresco dining needs. It was also to ensure that guests could enjoy the beautiful year-round Byron Bay climate.

Stepping back inside the property, we love the layering of earthy and natural textures which provides a sense of instant tranquillity — just what you need to rest and rejuvenate when on holiday. The home features open plan living, dining, sitting and kitchen areas, three spacious and beautifully furnished bedrooms along with two resort-style bathrooms and a stunning outdoor oasis.
“We wanted to really capture the essence of the Byron Bay area and the connection to both the lush hinterland and the beach,” says Melissa Bonney, Director of The Designory. “It was important the colour and materials palette drives the overall feel and experience of actually being in the home.”
