One of our favourite stylists here at Style Curator, is Julia Green. She’s a leading Australian stylist who has styled endless magazine covers, product photo shoots and interiors for private clients.
Predominantly known for her love of colour, Julia is the founder, writer and stylist for Greenhouse Interiors. Greenhouse Interiors was founded in 2010 by Julia, a former pharmaceutical industry executive with a passion for great design and supporting local artists.
A chance encounter with a Vogue photographer saw Julia make the decision to change careers into the world of interior styling. And boy, are we glad she did!
Julia claims she fell into interior styling by accident.
An incredible talent, Julia saw a gap in the market to create Greenhouse Interiors. She and her team at Greenhouse Interiors work with commercial brands and boutique artists. They work together on concept development, art direction, set design, styling and wholesale distribution.
Julia Green claims the idea came when sourcing products for shoots. She noted that small creatives were not always great at marketing themselves. So she decided she could do it for them, thanks to her business background and involvement in the media. It made perfect sense to start an agency and combine her love of styling with the product she loved and sell them.
On Style Curator, Julia has leant her talent in such articles as what to consider when buying a rug. She shared her wisdom on what to consider when bringing art into your home. And we also chatted to her in the article, Julia Green’s tips on adding greenery to your home.
